# Avoiding the construction on 37th

During the construction, you can’t drive west on 37th Avenue. If you’re driving, here are the best approaches to [my office](https://goo.gl/maps/gAUEZLxfWCoqomMJ7?ref=chudgar.com) while the construction is going on:

- **Best: come north on Johnson Street.** It’s best to get here by driving north on Johnson Street, then turning left *immediately after the railroad tracks*, into what looks like an alley. That alley will take you directly to Buchanan street and my place.
- **Possible: come east on 37th Avenue.** They’ve narrowed 37th to one very tight lane going eastbound, and you can take that from Central if you need too. It’s really bumpy!
