Crisis resources
An angry-looking red scribble hovers above a roundish gray object, who has a sad expression.

  • Crisis support for anyone, 24/7: call or text 988, the national mental health hotline. If the 988 operator thinks there’s an immediate danger to you or others, they may be required to notify local police even without your consent. They do this very rarely, but be mindful of the possibility.
  • Peer support for anyone, any time but late night: call the Wildflower Alliance warmline at 888-407-4515. Wildflower Alliance is staffed by trained folks with their own experiences of crisis, and they will never call police without your consent.
  • Peer support for trans and nonbinary folks, 24/7: call or text the Trans Lifeline at 877-565-8860. The Trans Lifeline is answered by trained trans and enby volunteers, who will never call police without your consent.
  • Peer support for BIPOC folks, 24/7: call or text the Blackline at 800-604-5841. Blackline is staffed by trained volunteers of color, who will never call police without your consent.
